This film cover is very much based more on the genre rather than the stars. This is due to the symbolic colours and also the font of the text 'transformers' this gives the impression that it is an action film as the font is bold and is suppose to represent metal. The actors starring in this film isn't made clear on the cover of this DVD, although there is small pictures of the mains in the cast at the bottom of the cover, in an action struck pose. To me, it looks like they are looking at something and seem to be confused and quite scared. The stars really on the front is really the director, Micheal Bay. His name is the only name on the cover, this is because of his directing reputation, people know to expect good films from him as a result of his previous films like pearl harbor. The autobots are the main feature on this cover, this is to convey the impression that they have a very high role in the film.
